I really think this is one of your best pictures so far. You Footes make such good models. I like the warm colors contrasted by the cooler colors in the background, and it's interesting how pretty much the only thing really in focus is Jeremy's eye. What made you decide to use such a shallow depth of field?

The deciding factor in how shallow my depth of field would be was my lack of a flash, and how dark it was in my room I had the main light on and a lamp shining directly on his face, but other than that it was pretty dim, so I had to open the aperture all the way up and turn the shutter speed down considerably. It turned out nicely, though. I'm really pleased with it. I actually took this picture a few months ago and forgot about it. Thank goodness for double-checks!
