Artist's Comments

This is a picture of my little brother Jeremy. Isn't he a cute little fella? That all depends... =)

Please, enjoy. Comment and favorite all you want!

And favorite.

It's the little button under the photo that says "Add to Favorites"

You have to push it, though.

..Just kidding. =P

No matter how subtle the wizard,
a knife between the shoulder blades
will seriously cramp his style...

I really think this is one of your best pictures so far. You Footes make such good models. I like the warm colors contrasted by the cooler colors in the background, and it's interesting how pretty much the only thing really in focus is Jeremy's eye. What made you decide to use such a shallow depth of field?

Awesome? "Great shot, too!" Does that mean 'Very sweet!' was about something else? maybe you were talking about the candy bar you were eating? Sounds great, and thanks for the compliment(s)!

Thank you, very very much. Getting a compliment from you on a photograph is like ........I don't know what it's like but it's great. =) That was corny

The deciding factor in how shallow my depth of field would be was my lack of a flash, and how dark it was in my room I had the main light on and a lamp shining directly on his face, but other than that it was pretty dim, so I had to open the aperture all the way up and turn the shutter speed down considerably. It turned out nicely, though. I'm really pleased with it. I actually took this picture a few months ago and forgot about it. Thank goodness for double-checks!
